I couldn't afford a seat, but I'll certainly hear it while I'm down there for the holiday.

I've got general admission for Saturday. I'll probably move after each session to find the best view.

I'll be there Friday! Does anyone know the deal for the indoor kart track they set up in the convention center?

I don't know if it is still available but living social had a deal for Friday where it was 9 dollars a ticket for general admission (No reserved seats on Fridays I believe.)

Was thinking of coming down Saturday. Anybody been there before? Is GA good enough to get a view, or do you need reserved seating to see anything? Paddock pass sounds like it might be worth while too.

The way I see it, it's less money on a less crowded day for better cars. Everybody wins.

I've never had reserved seating, I usually walk around and watch from different places along the track and I'm happy with that. Also, ALMS paddocks have always been open to the general public.

The IndyCar paddocks are definitely worth seeing (and they're air conditioned) but as frinesi2 stated, the ALMS paddocks are free to view in the parking lot south of Camden Yards. The coolest thing to see IMO is the ALMS cars entering and exiting pit lane, before and after the race. On Saturday this will happen around 1:45-2:30, at the south gate of Pit Lane.

I'm volunteering all 3 days, delivering supplies on a golf cart. I've been every year so far, still kind of surreal that open wheel race cars fly through the streets that I drive 10 mph on every day.

It's a mini version of the big track, think it was $15 or less for a go. Their karts are good and fast.

I have two tickets for tomorrow if you would like them (they gave all the volunteers two tickets for Friday as an additional thanks).
